Suzi & Barry – Dungarvan to Fota Island Resort

What a fantastic winter sunny day for Suzi and Barry. You would be delighted to get it in July. Costa del Dungarvan played host to our beautiful bride and groom. Suzi & Barry met in college. Love blossomed after a mere four years of being in the same course. Every wedding photography morning is special . If possible, this was even more special as Suzi’s mum not only had Suzi’s communion dress but also Suzi’s christening robe and her first ever pair of shoes. How amazing is that.
We knew we were going to have a really fun day ahead. It was meeting of old friends – with Claire, one of former bride’s as bridesmaid and Vincent a former groom and a former best man as a groomsman alongside the lovely Trisha and Andy to round out our party. Great people make great photos.
Our Dungarvan native Suzi’s home church of St Laurence’s in Ballinroad played host to our ceremony. One of the many special things about Dungarvan, is the view back over the beautiful bay as you climb up the hill on the Cork road. The guys rolled up the hill in a vintage Rolls Royce. Mother nature provided us with a stunning sky to mark the occasion. Having done an engagement shoot during the heatwave of 2018 in Fota gardens, we were back this time to the beautiful interior of Fota House. Winter or summer, what a banker of a beautiful venue.
A short hop from there to the Club House in Fota Resort for the festivities. Suzi and Barry had speeches at their drink reception. Such a great way to relax after and enjoy your beautiful dinner.
Thanks to Suzi and Barry and their brilliant bridal party for including us in such a fun day. Super looking forward to photographing ye all again soon.
