Lorraine & Shane – St Columba’s Douglas to Fernhill, Clonakilty

Lorraine and Shane met downtown in the big bright lights of Carrigaline – the start of a romance that brought us to the 29th December, 2017 and the gorgeous St Columba’s Church, Douglas. Simple route planning for us wedding photographers, with Lorraine’s parents house being about 300m from hers and Shane’s.
The craic was mighty at Lorraine’s with the champagne flowing and lots of well wishers. Meanwhile, The lads had an eventful start, locking themselves out of the house and being dived bombed by a bird. #survivers #staystrong
Onto St Columba’s for a beautiful ceremony by Fr Michael Keohane. It was a fab day for a winter wedding – crisp bright and clear. Lorraine really wanted a dry day – not for the usual wish for the photos but for their lovely suprise for the their guests of lovely coffee and chats supplied by the Vintage Bean Machine. Onward to the wonderful Fernhill House Hotel where our red carpet awaited our glamorous couple. A magical day was rounded off by our magical magician Gerard Kearney before the guys danced the night away with Lorraine even showing everyone how well she can carry a tune accompanied by Pat Fitz.
