Brendan & Tamar TYING the Knot in the Terrific Triskel

Weather happens whether you like it or not. And a heavy downpour was never going to to stop this match. This sports mad couple were kicking off in the Triskel one of Cork’s finest civil ceremony venues. The second half was in Oriel House Hotel. The Triskel (formerly Christchurch) is a beautiful space for the people of Cork and what a venue for a wedding. It is fair to say that everywhere you turn in the Triskel’s early georgian interior is a terrific picture and Brendan and Tamar were going to have a great day come hail rain sleet or shine. In fact there was plenty of rain and a bit of shine towards the end. Umbrellas were out in force for the guys arrival. As you can see there was no dampening of spirits. The Triskel is such a beautiful venue it needs no decoration but everything that is added to it looks fabulous. A really personal ceremony which included some beaufitul music from Tamar’s sister and brother was going off without a hitch until the obligatory check for where the rings were.
With the rain still working its magic outside, the families and bridal party were able to stay in the Triskel for some stunning and unique pictures. Onto the Oriel House Hotel for their famous welcome where our two proud Youghal-onians(!) enjoyed some craic with their guests. For two sports mad people, team pictures were definitely on their teamsheet. No one got a red card and no one was sent off – (at least while we were there!). Highlight of the speeches was definitely the surprise game of Mr & Mrs courtesy of the best man and former friend! Cant say who the winner was but I hope SHE enjoyed the victory. The whistle blew for our time with the guys but I am sure play continued long into the night. Thanks a million guys for allowing us to be be part of your day and I hope for lots more laughter for ye in the future.
